Paragraph Style Properties

For a paragraph style, you can define indentation, alignment, line spacing, and other paragraph related settings that will be used to display the paragraphs which are associated with this style. Also, a paragraph style allows you to define font and language settings, which will be used for the text in this paragraph unless the text uses another style.

 

Editing Properties of a Paragraph Style

 

Alignment

Specifies alignment mode (e.g. Left, Center, etc.) of the paragraphs associated with this style.

 

Line Spacing

Allows you to select a Line Spacing value of the paragraphs associated with this style.

To specify a custom Line Spacing value, click the Format button at the bottom, then click Paragraph.

 

Spacing

Allows you to increase or decrease the Spacing Before and Spacing After values of the paragraphs associated with this style.

To specify custom spacing values, click the Format button at the bottom, then click Paragraph.

 

Indentation

Allows you to increase or decrease the Left Indent value of the paragraphs associated with this style.

To specify custom indentation values, click the Format button at the bottom, then click Paragraph.

 

 

Reset Style


If you need to clear settings of a style to the default state:

1.In the Style dialog, in the bottom, click Format.

2.In the popup menu, click Reset Style.
